31. Peter Wilklow was born in 1811 in Hudson, Columbia Co., NY. Peter moved to Dansville about 1842 and bought land there in 1845. He also had an adopted daughter, Maria, that married William Hughes of Rochester. In 1868 he was a cooper in Dansville, Livingston Co., NY. He died on 28 May 1887 in Dansville, NY.³ Peter was buried on 31 May 1887 at Greenmount Cem. in Dansville, NY.³

Catherine Kershner was born about 1819 in North Dansville, NY. Her parents were John Kershner and Maria Dreisbach. She died on 3 August 1875 in Dansville, NY. She was buried at Greenmount Cem. in Dansville, NY. Age on tombstone: 56y 3m 19d

Peter Wilklow and Catherine Kershner had the following children:

Julia A. ----- was born about 1814. She died after 1880. In the 1895 census of Walnut Twp., Palo Alto Co., Iowa is a Julia Wilklow, widow. She is aged 81 and born in Connecticut and is a Episcopalian. Probably this Julia, but not proven.
