25. John Waldron Wilklow was born in 1799 in New Paltz, Ulster Co., NY. John moved to Ohio c. 1826. He first settles in Concord, Ohio which at the time was in Geuga County but now is in Lake County. On 30 Oct. 1835 he purchased 24¼ acres of land in Concord, Ohio from Elizur Goodrich, Jr. The family later moved to Logan County where John purchased land on the northern border of the Village of W. Mansfield, Ohio for $1.25 per acre. He died on 7 November 1881 in Bokes Creek, Logan Co., Ohio. He was buried at Good Hope Cemetery in Bokes Creek, Ohio.⁶

John married Catherine ----- who was born on 12 February 1802 in New York State. She died on 8 December 1881 in Bokes Creek, Ohio. She was buried at Good Hope Cemetery in Bokes Creek, Ohio.⁶

John Waldron Wilklow and Catherine ----- had the following children:
